Success on Tour goes inside BT's revolutionary agile working building

Trevor Higgins, BT's Partnership Director, will talk about BT's approach to agile working, which transformed the culture of the company and, in the process, turned the vision of a paperless office into reality.

Viv Dukes, MD of Flexworks UK will talk about the business case for remote and flexible working and Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, will talk about the boom in home businesses, which is flying in the face of recession.

Rosie Winterton, Minister for Yorkshire and the Humber will join delegates at the early morning visit to BT's Sovereign Street office. All six Success on Tour events are hosted by Business Ambassadors, chosen by the Minister to help other businesses in the region learn from their experience.

Pre-booking is required for all visits. For full details and bookings go to www.successontour.com or call Sandy Welsh at Northern Lights PR on 01423 562 400

Rosie Winterton said: "This is a great opportunity to learn at first hand from one of our region's business leaders. I am delighted that John Anderson and the other speakers are sharing their experience and I am looking forward to hearing how BT's new ways of working are benefiting the company.

"I feel sure that other businesses will be inspired by the master class and will take lots of practical and affordable new ideas back to their own organisation."

Business people can find out how BT is saving on training costs as engineers can access online courses, from their vans, rather than taking days out at training centres. The talk will also explain how BT managed the changes in company culture to create more streamlined and efficient systems, ultimately benefiting employees and customers.

Designed to help businesses of any size learn to do something new in an affordable way, Success on Tour is funded and supported by Yorkshire Forward.

Business Ambassador hosts, from November 2009 through to March 2010 include, Gordon Bridge, Kevin Whiteman, Neil Turton, Richard Gregory and John Foster. Following each visit tips and advice will be available at www.successontour.com.
