Clugston – maximising TV opportunities

Stephen Martin, CEO of the Clugston Group, filmed a new Channel 4 reality TV programme “Undercover Boss”. Northern Lights were appointed to maximise the PR potential. We created a campaign to position Clugston as a leader in the construction and logistics sector – to support winning tenders – and ensure that media coverage was not a one-week flash but had life long before and after the series finished.

Media coverage ranged from a feature in the FT, all the main trade publications, regional TV and radio and business magazines such as HR Director. Business benefits include being asked to joint venture with a major developer; to speak at Lancaster House to business leaders and by Prince Charles to discuss corporate social responsibility in construction.
