Professional networks

As a team we belong to a wide network of membership organisations and networks. This helps us understand current business issues, improve our communication skills and ensure we know professional people at all levels to help our clients.

Examples of the organisations we belong to or are actively involved with include

  • The CBI – attending small senior dinners, their annual conference in London and a number of senior policy briefings
  • Bank of England – we are one of the businesses they talk to for monitoring the economy and get invited to events as a thank you
  • Chartered Institute of Public Relations – Carol Arthur is former chair of the regional CIPR committee and Helen Standing is the membership officer for Yorkshire & Lincolnshire. Both mentor CIPR members and have helped a number to perform more strongly in their existing organisations and win promotion
  • Yorkshire Mafia – our region’s fastest growing network, started as a LinkedIn group, with more than 8,000 members
  • Both Harrogate and Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce
  • Women’s Business Forum – working with FTSE 350 companies and the government to achieve better balanced boards of directors. The Forum, sponsored by RBS, was attended by 600 senior men and women from across Europe

Why does this matter to you? It will help you achieve outstanding business engagement.

Our networks and contacts are one of the greatest assets of our PR consultancy. We have credibility at all levels of seniority because we treat the people we know with respect, only introducing contacts and clients to each other when we can see a win:win for both sides.
