Northern Lights project-managed the entire Bite Size campaign for the Learning and Skills Council North Yorkshire – from finding organisations to put on free, one-hour courses, managing support services such as the call centre and website and promoting the courses.
NL worked with 40 voluntary sector organisations. They carried out a high profile media launch with regional TV coverage based on overweight pets and tapped into everyday activities such as planning a wedding on a budget.
More than 5,000 adults went on a Bite Size with 49% non-learners, virtually double previous adult learning campaigns – and exceeded the target.
